New Program in Need - NASA

NASA needed to be created to avoid many disadvantages as a country. What were some of these disadvantages and why were they urgent enough to create NASA?

    One of the largest disadvantages if we didn't create NASA is that we would be greatly behind the soviet union. This not only was a threat to the United States but also was something we need to do to show that we are top dog and NASA helped us do that.
